Acting as the President of the EU Council, the Czech Republic intensively enforced the idea that the “barrier-free“ European concept should remain EU’s common value and target.
The obverse side of the medal features an encircled composition of flags of the EU member states.
The reverse side bears stylized emblems of the Czech Republic – the Czech lion, the Moravian and Silesian eagle and the text “Evropa bez bariér“ in circumscription.
